Registered deaths. Used, for example, to determine the principal causes of premature death in Torbay.
Public Health England (PHE) publish data on a wide range of health indicators at national, regional and local authority level. Where possible, we use their indicators to benchmark our queries on HES data at Torbay level, to have confidence in our ward, LSOA and CCG locality calculations.
