This accessibility statement applies to www.southdevonandtorbay.info which we are committed to making accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

  • Some PDFs beyond our JSNAs and 2-Page Subject Profiles may not be accessible or have alternative text (disproportionate burden exemption is being temporarily invoked), in particular Health Needs Assessments.
  • The Google map on our home page is decorative to be able to explore parts of our Torbay unitary authority geographic area and may not be fully accessible. The "Ward Finder" Google map on our JSNA page to be able to explore electoral ward geographic boundaries within Torbay also may not be fully accessible but all Torbay JSNA Ward Profiles are viewed in the same document independent of this widget.

This statement was reviewed on 04/11/2024 following self-assessment, checking each page with the WAVE accessibility checker, W3C markup validation service, keyboard navigation, NVDA screenreader and ensuring our saved 2-Page Subject Profile PDFs and Torbay JSNA PDFs contained alternative text for figures and graphs.
